Wow! What an unforgettable adventure Year 4 had as they travelled by train to our amazing capital city, London.

The highlight of our trip was undoubtedly visiting the Houses of Parliament! We were incredibly lucky to sit in the public galleries of both the House of Commons and the House of Lords, watching real politicians taking part in live debates! The debates were even being broadcast on BBC Parliament, although you wouldn't have spotted us on television! 📺🏛️

The children were absolutely fascinated to see democracy in action, bringing everything they have been learning to life!

Of course, no trip to London would be complete without spotting some of its most famous landmarks! From the magnificent Big Ben to the spectacular London Eye, there was so much to see and admire! 🎡

"It was a spectacular view!" exclaimed one of our children, while others declared that they felt like the luckiest children in the world! ❤️

What a truly special experience, filled with excitement, awe and memories that will last a lifetime.

Year 4 returned home with a much deeper understanding of our capital city, how Parliament works and just how incredible learning beyond the classroom can be!
