Year 6 Homework – Block 3 Spring 2019 – Earth and Beyond!
Children will be given homework each week linked to our topic and science lessons. This may be in the form of research, photographs or a creative homework. Our next topic is all about Earth and Beyond. Reading, spellings and timetables – remember they can log into Times Tables Rockstars at home, will continue to be an important part of our homework.

Choose one of the planets in our solar system and write me a fact file about this planet. Include an illustration of this planet alongside your fact file. Think about: size, meaning of name, distance from sun, how long it takes to orbit, name and number of moons, an interesting fact, temperatures, when it was discovered and by who, what it is made of and what the atmosphere of the planet is like. |

You need to create a fact file for this planet like you did in task 5.
